Tokyo Day 4 - 1st August 2012

Woke up early in the morning to say goodbye to Tricia as her flight was in the morning. Went back to sleep and ended up waking at only around 10+am. After helping Meiqin with her luggage packing, Yanting and I brought Meiqin to our hostel where she left her luggage there after checking out from her hotel. After much lazing around, we finally left our hotel and headed for Ueno where we wanted to have our sweets buffet at Sweets Paradise. It was hidden inside a shopping mall and we eventually found it on the 7th storey. The buffet was simple, expensive and fast. It cost us 1480yen (S$25) and was only for a period of 70minutes. There was a simple selection of cakes, jellies, ice-shavings, standard drinks (ie. coke, tea, orange juice...) and some simple pasta and a container of curry. We ate our S$25 worth of food, in fact, I think I ate S$50 worth of food, as I was taking cakes by the quarter of a cake and jellies by the bowlful! After the extremely filling buffet, we walked around the mall as the girls wanted to shop for shoes and bags. It was indeed a shopping paradise for them as they managed to buy something in the mall, while I walked around and camwhored a bit with Meiqin as she was leaving that very night already. Soon, we had to head back to the hostel, where Meiqin prepared her bags. All three of us headed for the KeiseiUeno Station where she boarded the train to Narita Airport. Yan Ting and I then walked around Ueno area again and had our dinner at McDonalds, which was really yummy! Once again, we played a little more arcade and had much fun together before going back to our hostel.
