Day 1 Dinner

Dinner was served in the school's cafeteria and we were given a choice of either breaded chicken with egg mayo and ham filling or grilled mackerel. I chose the breaded chicken and it resembled cordon bleu, with the replacement of cheese with egg mayo. The main dishes come with two side dishes of salad and we were to help ourselves to the miso soup, chicken soup and rice. There was also free flow of green tea and water and I was allowed to spam Japanese mayo! The meal was decent, much better than any Japanese food I have eaten in NTU, so I must say that this is a wonderfully good start to my 6 weeks in AIU. I'm really looking forward to my coming meals!
