Upon reaching Moriota, we alighted and waited at the platform for the second Shinkansen that we were supposed to transfer to. Promptly at 1224h, the Komachi 21 arrived and we boarded it. Actually, it consists of two Shinkansens joined togather to form a longer train. The new train is much smaller and the seats are 2-2 per row instead of 2-3. As the train goes on, we passed by many paddy fields, mountains and gorgeous scenery.
