Food!

Chatted with my roomie for more than an hour. We talked about how weather and food is like in Singapore and compared the prices of food between Singapore and Japan. He was very much amazed at how we can purchase a meal for less than S$3 in Singapore while a meal in Japan costs minimally 700yen (S$12). I introduced him to local Singaporean delights such as laksa, char kway teow and satay. After finding out that I've never eaten ramen before, he gave me two packets of instant ramen! One was chicken flavoured while the other is tonkatsu (pork bone soup) flavoured. Thank God for such friendly and warm roommates! =)
